Share your listings on social media in 4 steps
A short manual. Most agents finish their first share in under 5 minutes from sign-up.
Subscribe to Pro Automation
Social automation is part of the $99/month Pro Automation plan. Lower plans show the feature but the publish buttons stay locked. Open the pricing page and pick Pro Automation. Payment is via Stripe — cancel any time from the Customer Portal.
Connect Facebook (one time, about 30 seconds)
Open Dashboard → Social. Click Connect Facebook. Facebook will show a permission dialog asking for access to your Pages and any Instagram Business accounts linked to them. Click Continue. AHO never sees your Facebook password.
Permissions we ask Facebook for:
- List the Facebook Pages you manage
- Publish posts on your selected Page
- Read post engagement (powers your analytics dashboard)
- Detect Instagram Business accounts linked to your Page and publish to them too
Publish a property listing
Dashboard → Properties → New. Fill the form (title, price, beds, baths, area, photos). Or paste a competitor portal URL and AHO auto-fills the fields. Click Publish. The listing goes live at a permanent URL on advertisehomes.online — that URL is what your social posts will link back to.
Click "Share to my socials"
Open the listing edit page. Scroll past the form and image uploader. You will see a "Share to my socials" card listing every Facebook Page and Instagram account you connected. Two buttons:
Generate AI draft (optional)
AI proposes platform-appropriate captions you can read, edit, or replace before publishing. AI never publishes by itself — you are still the one clicking Share.
Share now
Publishes the post immediately to every connected account. Takes about 3-5 seconds. Multiple photos go to Instagram as a carousel automatically.
✓ What you will see when it works
- Green ✓ for each Facebook Page and Instagram Business account
- "View post →" link to the live post on each platform
- Inside every post: the AHO listing URL — buyers click it and land on your property page
✗ What to do if something fails
- A red ✗ row shows the platform that failed plus a short reason (for example, "image too large")
- Copy the short error reference on the row (it looks like AHO-SP-IMG-a3f7b2c1)
- Email info@advertisehomes.online — paste the reference, we look up the failure and reply
- Some failures are retryable — click "Retry failed" to try just the failed accounts. Successful posts are not duplicated.
